Company HistoryTop Designs, LLC had a modest beginning when it was founded by Dean and Kellie Thompson in 1997. The company originally fabricated laminate countertops out of the garage at the Thompson residence in Wadsworth. The company's dedication to providing excellent customer service, quality products and competitive pricing was rewarded with substantial growth. This allowed Top Design's to move to its current location at 1700 Wall Road in Wadsworth, Ohio.While Top Designs began fabricating laminate countertops, they have expanded their countertop offerings over the years to include solid surface, granite and quartz surfaces. With their ability to template, fabricate, deliver and install all of their countertop materials, they are able to service all types of clients from builders and remodelers to the individual homeowner. To ensure their customers continued satisfaction, Top Designs is continuously looking for ways to be more effective at building countertops.Top Designs uses a specialized computer program to create more accurate and consistent quotes and also more efficiently schedule templates, production, and deliveries/installations.They now use a digital &/or a laser templating system. These systems link directly to their AXYZ CNC for fabrication of laminate and solid surface countertops and their Northwood Stone CNC for granite and quartz. This technique helps to ensure a proper fit for each countertop.Not only is Top Designs, LLC a countertop manufacturing company but also a kitchen and bath design center. They offer semi-custom and custom cabinets along with sinks, faucets, and hardware to help its clients create the kitchen or bath of their dreams. With the use of computer aided design software and in-house designers, Top Designs is able to help with all of their customer’s design needs no matter how small or large the budget.
